Today has been such a great day! I went to Enschede, a city close by my home town, together with my friend Kim. We had a lot of fun, spending the afternoon in the H&M, drinking ice-tea and eating delicious ice-cream. It's a shame I didn't take any pictures but next time, I will. And of course the weather was absolutely lovely! Nothing but sun and blue sky, I absolutely love it. The temperature was around 25 degrees Celsius so I decided to wear a breezy jumpsuit. Love the soft pink colour and the flower print! No need to cover it with a jacket or sweater, a one-piece outfit is always a winner on hot days.

Golden days

Hiya readers, long time no see! Since I've only posted a few posts during the time I have this blog I consider this a fresh start. From now on, I promise I'll publish at least one post a week but I'm planning on posting more often.

Saturday, I bought two new nail polishes: Iron Mermaiden and In the Bronx from Catrice. The colours are absolutely wonderful. Iron Mermaiden is a holographic nailpolish, which means it has more than one shade. On the first sight it looks lilac but when you look at it from a different angle it changes to sea green. In The Bronx is gold and sparkly, a great nail polish for a night out.

Bikbok Spring 2011

The newest Bik Bok collection is AMAZING. I absolutely love every piece in these pictures. The rock 'n roll/country style is perfect for the festival season. Can't wait to visit cool bands wearing the beautiful sleeveless blouse or one of those beautiful high-waisted shorts. They are definitely on top of my wishlisht right now!

There's a fire starting in my heart

A somewhat rock'n roll outfit to spice up a boring day. It matched perfectly with the base guitar I had to play at school, though! At the moment, we are preparing the song fire and I play the base guitar (no experience!). Took me long time to learn the right notes and to ignore my painful fingers but I can play the song :)
Furthermore, my friends and I will be performing "Son of a preacher man" on the cultural evening of my school. Hopefully I'll manage to get my hands on some video material of our performance so that I can post it here. Looking forward to it!

How sad the weather is... The sky has been constantly grey for more than a week right now and it feels as if the world is captured in mist. Even though it is March I still don't have that it's-almost-spring-yes-sun-and-cute-little-animals-are-coming feeling. Actually, I feel more like sitting on the couch in a knitted cardigan with a cup of hot chocolate. Which is exactly what I do!
I don't dare to wear this cardigan at school because it is huge and admittedly, I don't know how to make a nice combination with it. Still, I love it to bits!

Finally, another outfit post! Since I have something which is more or less like a date tonight I wanted to wear something comfortable yet sophisticated. I bought these pair of Vans more than a year ago, after my beloved Vans Era didn't fit me anymore. However, I am glad I have this pair now because Vans Era are way too popular at the moment! The one and only first post

Well, here it is. My first post EVER. It has been written, deleted, written again and deleted again but finally, my blog is officialy alive.

It is a lame wednesday night and everything that comes even close to shopping and fashion seems far away. A pretty weird evening to start my blog, actually.

That is why I want to start my first post with an outfit. Not exactly what I wore today but it is too late to make a good picture now. It is one of my comfort outfits. The sweater is really soft and I little oversized and it matches great with mt beloved Stradivarius wedges. Speaking of which, Stradivarius is my favourite shop but unfortunately it is not located in the Netherlands. The shop was named after the violin maker Stradivarius, whose violins were of extremely high quality. I think it is really cool to name a brand after such a person!
